Collared greens



We recently signed up for
The Farm Table
(they deliver fresh fruits and veggies to my door once a week)
A few weeks ago it came with collard greens.
It was a first for me.
All I can say, the more butter the better!
First I sauteed onions and mushrooms.
Then I sauteed the greens in butter with salt and pepper.
We ate it with lentils and cooked carrots.

Taco salad


Taco salad is an easy go to when I don't want to really have to prepare anything.

There are several ways to make it.
Since I don't cook a lot of meat this one is vegetarian.

Lettuce
Corn
Beans
cilantro rice
Tomatoes
Cheese
and a lime vinaigrette 




Corn Chowder


I got this recipe from this cook book.

It's one of my favorites.

I changed it up a bit with adding different vegetables.
I added broccoli, carrots and yellow squash.

It's pretty yummy!
It's also good with her drop biscuits.
Yummy!
